A Song Spreading Harmony

Clear skies, clear conscience! Days like this get you so excited, you just want to run around the courtyard…♪
(Usually there’s some club activity going on somewhere in the courtyard, but as far as I can see there aren’t any students in club uniforms)
(Sooo it looks like I won’t be bothering anyone if I run around now. Yep yep, I’ll put my excitement to use and run some laps…☆)
Adonis: Captain.
Madara: Mm? Oh, Adonis-san! An earth-shaking shock! You suuure surprised me, suddenly coming up behind me and tapping my shoulder like that!
Adonis: I’m sorry for startling you.
Anyway, Captain, why are you wearing your school uniform instead of your track uniform?
I told you that I wanted you to show up to practice today. Did you forget?
Madara: Hmmm….. Did I make that sort of promiiise?
Adonis: I see… No, you seemed to be in a hurry at that time. You said yes, but that doesn't mean we had a clear understanding.

Now that I think about it, I remember hearing that you like collecting unusual things. Is this a part of your collection?
Madara: Oh, you remeeembered the things I like! I’m beside myself with joy! That makes me so happy I could just rub our cheeks together♪
Adonis: Captain, would you please not rub my cheeks? You and I both have large builds, so it feels like you're weighing me down.
Madara: My bad, my bad! Anyway, going back to your earlier question, it’s as you say. This iiis a part of my collection!
When I went to Peru, a head villager gave it to me as a souvenir.
Adonis: Is that so… Captain is always flying around overseas, so it's no wonder that you’ve been to Peru.
Madara: I stayed in one of Peru’s big cities for the first few days, but...
... since I went all the way there I thought that I might as well see some ruins and stuff, so I went deeeep into the mountains.
I stumbled upon a village near the ruins, but it was already late so I tried to check in at an inn.
The rural dialect was pretty thick, so I wasn’t able to communicate easily.
When I was about to give up, thinking I’d have to camp out today, I could hear cheers from the village square…
I thought “What’s that?” and made my way over to where there was a festival going ooon!
Everyone was holding hands and dancing and singing and performing so I couldn’t help but join in.
I gave it a shot and showed off with a Japanese song, and everyone applauded me happily. Before I knew it, we were aaaall singing and dancing together until the festival ended♪
They say music surpasses all borders, and that song is what made me realize that.
That’s when the head villager gave me the maracas as a present and even offered me a place to sleep.
Even if you can’t speak the language, you can convey anything with just a song. That’s when I really realized that.
Adonis: Is that so…. Captain, thank you for letting me listen to your story.
Maracas have a nice sound. It’s a sound that’s pleasing to the ear, so I would be happy to listen to it forever.
Madara: Thanks! Kinda like the maracas, the ocarina Adonis-san plays has a pleasant sound too. We may as well, so shall we play together?
Adonis: I don’t mind. I brought my ocarina with me today, so I can perform right away.
